Neurofeedback - What is it ? Schedule with us to find out !

Come and schedule a session to determine how neurofeedback may help you !

Neurofeedback, also known as Brain Training, is like giving your brain a gym membership for a workout without any of the sweat. It's a no-needles, no-pills approach that tunes into your brain's natural rhythms, kind of like a brain DJ, to get those neural pathways flexing and connecting in new, more efficient ways.

Nowadays, for those who've found the usual talk therapy or medication more like hitting a mental health plateau, Neurofeedback offers a climb to new heights. Essentially, it’s giving a second wind to those who've been running on the traditional treatment treadmill and not getting anywhere.

Neurofeedback, metaphorically speaking, is like a video game for your brain, where the goal is to get better at controlling how your brain works. Imagine you have a hat with special sensors that can listen to your brain's activity, kind of like how we listen to music. These sensors can tell when your brain is doing things well and when it's not.

When you play this "brain game," the computer shows you pictures or plays sounds that give you clues about how well your brain is doing. If you're doing great and your brain is working just how you want it to, you might hear happy sounds or see fun images. But if your brain isn't doing what you're trying to make it do, the game will let you know with different sounds or pictures, so you can try to change it.

By playing this game, your brain learns how to be better at certain things, like paying attention or staying calm. It's like teaching your brain to hit the right notes in a song. The more you practice, the better your brain gets at playing the game. This helps you feel better and do things better in your daily life because your brain has learned to work in a more efficient way, just like how practicing a sport makes you better at it.
